Omega Weapon Attacks

Jump to: navigation, search

The best masters of the weapon use these to unleash hell on his opponents. This requires at least 30 levels in the appropriate weapon skill and at least another 10 levels in the added damage equivalent skill. Upon attaining those requirements, a warrior can attempt to learn an Omega Weapon Attack. On top of a massive 150 SP required to learn, a warrior must also spend 10,000 gold or more to learn the ability from a Weapon Master. Training of the attack takes 3 months per ability. There is only one level in each of the abilities. The damage dealt by each attack does not include the weapon’s normal damage. In fact, the player does not roll the weapon damage, just the damage that is listed under each ability. Even if the weapon has magical damage, it is not taken into account. There is no save allowed for damage and no AC can apply to reduce the damage. The target’s DEF is the only thing that can reduce it. For elemental damage, no resistance applies to reduce damage, only the target’s MGD can reduce the damage. The elemental damage is also so fierce that those who would normally be immune to it are not immune. When used, the warrior’s weapon disappears and for their one turn, causes devastating effects to those around him. The warrior must still strike the target with a normal roll. Targets can only dodge to avoid these effects but still suffer half damage even with a dodge. The cost to use these attacks is based off the warrior's maximum PE. It costs 50% of the warrior's maximum PE (rounded down to the nearest 5 or 0). There is no CAST DC however if the warrior misses his strike or critically fails, he expends the PE anyways.

[edit] Axe – Thyrsus

Thyrsus explodes into existence through the form of a flaming axe of magmatic proportions. Magma spews from fiery cracks in its seemingly wooden hilt and flames jet from the joints connecting the large jagged and serrated axe head to its haft. When striking, a massive explosion rocks the target as searing lava coats them. They suffer 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 fire damage.

[edit] Blow Gun – Apollo's Gale

Apollo’s Gale is an ornate Blow Gun with several eyelets of holes that stretch along its solid gold shaft. The gun, measuring roughly 3’ long, is covered with designs and carvings of hail fire raining down from clouds. Peering into the shaft reveals a swirling vortex of death and agony. When fired, several thousand darts flash out of the tube. The inside vortex shoots these needles out at extreme velocities. Any target within a 40’ cone of this barrage suffers 10d10*2 damage.

[edit] Bow – Gandiva

Gandiva creates a stunning bow made of the weaves from the arcing menace of the great beyond. Its string is crafted from a single strand of consecrated evil, of the most unhallowed abyss. Once an arrow is placed upon its string, it shatters into fragments of the ultimate beast of mana and exits the bow to pierce a target and rend the flesh. This piercing blow does 15d10*2 damage and completely wrecks the target’s armor. All the ST is reduced to 0 and the AC is reduced to 0 for one day even if the armor is repaired.

[edit] Cestus – Kantelepharynx

Kantele summons her cachet wrist spikes. Glistening with renown and power, these solid gold swords cause the warrior to fly into a fury of swings on his target. Each swing only intensifies the warrior’s displacement and thirst. Upon clawing the target to a bloody state, they suffer 5d10*2 damage as the warrior thrusts both weapons into the target’s chest and they suffer an additional 10d10*2 illusion damage.

[edit] Club – Ciordeus Grids

Ciordeus wraps the warrior’s club in cataclysmic briar of toxic proportions. The very tips of these stinging nettles of death ooze a powerful toxin that has been known to kill dragons with just a touch. Upon striking a target, the briar latches on and begins to rend the flesh, tearing it and filling the wounds with a viscous, burning poison. The target suffers 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 Nature damage.

[edit] Crossbow – Argo

Argo grafts the warrior’s crossbow into a shoulder mounted capital projectile turret. Holding it with one hand over his shoulder, the crossbow resembles that of a modern day RPG with a massive ball of translucent blue energy at its exhaust. When launched, the energy flushes into the cannon to propel that single bolt at double the crossbow’s range and the target who is struck suffers 15d10*2 damage.

[edit] Dual Weapons - Nagelring

The warrior begins to spin around, wailing his weapon around. As he spins faster, the blades begin to fracture and splinter off into hundreds of metal shards. These shards fly off towards target and strike them with piercing blows. All targets in a 20’ radius who are caught in this hellstorm suffer 10d10*2 damage. The pieces return to its original shape afterwards.

[edit] Flail – Trishula

The warrior is able to spin his flails beyond that of light into the realm of dark matter. The result is a radial blur of motion and chaos that begins to split the universe around the warrior. When an ill-fated target is struck by this whirlwind of the cosmos, they suffer 15*10*2 damage. The blackness of the universe envelopes their soul and reduces their MGD and DEF to 0 for one day. They cannot increase these attributes by any means, including magical, potions, or natural healing during the day.

[edit] Hammer – Mjolnir

Said to have been thrust from another time and dimension into a great void after its master no longer had a use for it. This thick handle is topped with a large brick-shaped solid granite stone. The stone has two large spikes on either end of the deep blue stone. Upon striking, the hammer is instantly chained to the nearest target and smashes them as well as the first. This weapon chain strikes to 4 other targets chosen by the warrior. The targets cannot be farther than 10’ away from each target. Each target suffers 10d10*2 damage.

[edit] Hand to Hand - Daishi

Bestows the actual hands of the lords of war. These hands cause the warrior’s hands to double in size but retain their accuracy and deadly speed. Wisps of white energy encircle his fists and any unarmed attack by such an attack is extremely lethal, even with restraint. On the warrior’s attack, they gain +3 moves with their Unarmored Combat ability. Even upon a missed attack, the warrior can still use all his abilities up to the maximum amount of moves. Each attack does 5d10*2 damage regardless of hand-to-hand damage or the damage done by an Unarmored Combat moves

[edit] Katar - Claiomh

The warrior is able to connect his weapon’s resonating field to that of the great psionic master, Feiyre. When thrust forward, this weapon sends out a blast of metaphysical energy that rends the spiritual flesh to its core. This tearing effect pierces all natural defenses and causes the target to suffer 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 Psychic damage.

[edit] Long Sword - Balmung

The warrior’s weapon attempts to disintegrate all objects and send them into the void beyond. As the long sword begins to eat itself away, atom-by-atom, the warrior slashes his weapon at a target. This destruction causes the oblivion to form on the target as a massive weight attempts to eat the target whole. This Omega Attack only does 5d10*2 damage but there is a 20% that it will do an additional 5d20*2 damage.

[edit] Mace – Luin

When maces gain the mass of suns, the extraordinary damage that is demonstrated is in fact multiplied by its billions of tons of weight. The ungodly thing about this is that the warrior strikes with lightning speeds and hits all targets who are adjacent to him. This powerful smash of sun-mass causes all targets to suffer 10d10*2 damage and the ST on their armor is reduced to 25% of its current amount.

[edit] Mallet – Vajra

Vajra summons the most colossal mallet known to exist. This very long polearm shaft is topped with a massive dense object made of molten core earth. Upon a gigantic swing, it can flatten any target into the ground through any surface. The sheer magnitude of this mallet causes its own elemental field to form aligning itself with the earth. The target who is struck suffers 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 earth damage.

[edit] Medium Sword - Gram

The warrior’s weapon comes into contact with the Holy Exalt, Lucent for a brief moment. This lapse in the great veil causes a brilliant flash of light as the warrior’s weapon lunges forward in a blink of an eye. The target must dodge the attack, a parry does nothing to protect against it. This Omega Attack does 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 Holy damage.

[edit] Nunchaku - Zulfiquar

The warrior smashes the target so hard that for a moment in space and time he ceases to exist. The target phases out of life and becomes part of the great beyond. Then as quickly as the target disappears, they reappear in an instance. This quick transformation and force causes the target to lose all ability to regenerate HP or PE by any means including magic, potions, or natural healing. The attack itself that sends the target through the void does 15d10*2 damage.

[edit] Polearm – Gomiant

Unleashed by the heaven beyond heaven, a spinning disk drops from the skies and lands into the warrior’s hands. This mystical polearm glistens with the energy of galaxies and billows with the essence of time. One large thrust sends its opponents through a whirlwind of the cosmos. Burning neutrons, pulsating quasars, and galactic cores crush, blaze, and destroy its target. This Omega Attack does 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 Cosmic damage.

[edit] Rod – Caduceus

Caduceus’s Rod is a brilliant pinnacle of bio manipulation. While a short stubby one-handed rod, it is a testament to those who seek to be deformed. When the warrior strikes a target with the rod, a thump smashes the target and does 15d10*2 damage. However the true power of the rod is in that it can cause any status effect on the target for one full day. There is no save for the target and even immunity cannot block the status effect. The status effect cannot be cured by any means.

[edit] Scythe – Sudarsha

A Sudarsha Grand Scythe is a very dark and evil entity. Bestowed in this ordinary looking metal scythe is the embodiment of a pure devilish entity. A sliver sized cut from this blade would result in an epitaph of pain and agony on one’s soul. When unleashed on a target, this painstaking jump attack slams the target into the dirt and throws up a momentous dark energy that envelopes the target further. As the putrid chaos seeps into every pore, the screams of thousands of souls echoes and shatters any hope of order. The target suffers 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 dark damage.

[edit] Short Sword - Dainsleif

Dainsleif calls down a warping field of physics. Gravity around the sword bends and twists the physical form while electromagnetics send the blade through infinite planes of space. Atomic particles wrap the blade in a searing blue hot glow. When used as a effective weapon, the quantum mechanics break down and envelope the target who is sent through a physic-storm unimaginable. This Omega Attack causes the target to suffer 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 Super Force damage.

[edit] Sling – Bhagavad

This mythical sling is laced with strings of pure god essence in its pouch. The handle is a solid titanomachy shaft encrusted with gems of every kind. The two are attached by a single long thread of hair. When slung at an opponent, the bullet travels out of sight into the ethereal realm and pierces not only the initial target, but any other object in a 80’ line in front of the warrior. All targets suffer 10d10*2 damage.

[edit] Spear – Gungir

Odin’s great Spear falls into the hands of the warrior for a brief moment in time. Through a dimensional flux, the spear slices forward with lightning speeds. Covered by flickering bolts of electricity, metal instantly fries around the tip, turning the material into black dust. This massively jolting attack shreds nerves and burns flesh causing the target to suffer 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 Electric damage.

[edit] Staff – Ameno

The Ameno Staff enables the warrior to extend the staff and strike a target who is LoS up to 40’ away. When extended, the staff becomes one with quantum mechanics and stretches through several planes and portals. The result is that what may look like a swing to a target 40’ away, is actually a dimensional rip that causes the staff to appear next to the target. This rift tears the fabric of chaos around it and subsequently blasts the target backwards as well. The unlucky recipient suffers 15d10*2 damage and is knocked back 20’.

[edit] Throwing – Vitthak

Vitthak replaces the warrior’s throwing weapon with that of a single solid throwing spike. This spike, shaped much like a jagged piece of steel, leaves the warrior’s hands. Upon letting go, the spike hangs in place mere inches away from the warrior’s fingers. A close observation reveals that the surrounding air begins to vacuum itself into the spike. Eventually, a loud piercing hissing sound fills the air and breaks by the blast of a sonic boom. The spike travels towards its target and strikes with an apocalyptic force. Not only does the target suffer damage, but all within a 10’ radius suffers 10d10 damage also.

[edit] Two-Handed - Nothung

A might attack that is forced down on opponents by the hands of the gods. For a brief moment in time, the warrior’s strength becomes that of a god and smashes a target so hard down, the concussive force leaves a large crater beneath the opponent. The target must dodge the attack, a parry does nothing to protect against it. A failed dodge knocks the target prone. This Omega Attack does 10d20*2 damage.

[edit] Whip – Lazuli Koma

Lazuli whips are crafted from solid and liquid states of ice. With a solid glacial handle and a long contained whip made of water, jagged ice chunks form along its chain. These sharp faceted pieces of absolute zero ice freeze the oxygen in the air and add more ice to it. The target lashed by this whip feels their soul freeze under the cold grip. They suffer 5d10*2 damage and 10d10*2 ice damage.
