[edit] Clarity across the Wiki & Geomancy page names
I am going to head through some of your Geomancy pages and move them so that their generic names become _(Geomancy), in the same format I have done with other pages around the Wiki. For instance, the first one on the list, Ability Scores will become Ability Scores_(Geomancy). --Phil 03:30, August 27, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Spam
Is it just me, or are we being spammed to death lately? I'd hate the idea of locking the Wiki to registered users only, but I am concerned that we may have to do that. What do you think? --Phil 23:14, October 20, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Log in!
Your edits are showing up from two different IP addresses (I'm assuming home and work) and with all the spam lately, I am panicking each time I see a non-logged in edit. So, please, for my sanity, log in!
I'm trying to find a way (Wiki Extensions) to lock each page so that only registered users can edit, but have had no luck so far. I remember seeing one in the past, but I can't find it.

[edit] Spam and what we can do about it...
Ok, this message is being copied to everyone that has SysOp status. We have a new policy regarding SPAM. SysOp members - as well as reverting pages with Spam back to their original state, and banning the IP or member, I want the page in question to be protected. At the top, while looking at the page, click on the "Protect" link. If it is a general page on the site, choose the option for registered users only. If it is a Wiki page; like a help page, the About LiMaWiki page, etc.; then choose the option for SysOp only.
For those of you that wish to go beyond this, feel free to protect any page you come across.
Thanks for all of your help!

(Note just for you - I tried to find a way to get this done, but was unsuccessful. This is probably the best way to do it anyway; and it's already built into the Wiki, so I can't break it. LOL)
[edit] Just wanted to say bravo.
Seriously. It may just be the manner of display on the wiki here, but I would be scared to see such a rulebook as Geomancy in dead tree form. In my head I see it as some monstrous thing sitting there on the table, ready to unleash text wall hell on me upon opening. It's been nearly two years since I created my account on this wiki, and I still haven't shined out the kinks on my copy of the Gadgeteer (which I need to get on here at some point), much less finished up a whole set of rules.
So, yeah. Kudos to the moon and back. It won't be the same without your mass updates on the recent changes page. ﴾›◦_◦﴿›--Traverse 04:02, June 21, 2009 (UTC)
