After a successful strike with any short sword, the warrior can attempt to wound the target even more. The target must make a save or suffer an additional wounding caused by the blow. If the target fails, the opponent suffers +1 dice damage equal to the weapon. For example, if the short sword did 2d4 points of damage, a wounding strike would do 1d4. If the weapon did 1d6 points of damage, the wounding strike would do +1d6 damage. The opponent can only apply their DEF to reduce the wounding damage. This ability ends the character’s turn and he cannot roll for multiple attacks. At levels 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 the wounding dice is increased by +1.
